Makeup Obsessions

Thats right the title to this piece is Makeup obsessions, and for us women that's the funnest part of our day! Trying new makeup is a joy and what's not better then hearing whats hot from one woman to another. Lets start this off right with my must-have foundations.

My first makeup obsession is the NEW urban decay Naked Skin foundation.
When I heard about this foundation I must say I was a little skeptical at first. The launch of this product claims its like a second skin and leaves a demi matte natural finish, and I must say it REALLY does!! The formula helps skin achieve a natural bright finish its simply beautiful. Its a very Buildable coverage,but it is a medium coverage but you can build your coverage up if desired. Another amazing plus is the range of shades and numbering system from warm tones (ending in “.0”) and cool skin tones (ending in “.5”)  that was so genious!!! The finish is matte, never flat, and luminous, but not shiny. One down side and thats it just one is the product is very liquidy and drying...but I love this foundation and love that natural air brushed finish it creates.

My second makeup obsessed foundation is Revlon's colorstay whipped foundation. It is such a nice full coverage foundation that goes on like silk and leaves your skin simply flawless. The new colorstay whipped creme makeup is everything that the original colorstay was, minus the cakey finish. The application of  the foundation looks good when you first apply it and as the day goes on it looks even BETTER.  I'm so impressed with Revlon's quality recently and this product claims to last 24 hrs and I honestly feel like it definitely stands by its claim. I can wear this all day and my foundation will not wear off.. even in the humidity. The only pitfall to this product is I feel like Revlon could of done a better job on the range of colors say like Loreal true match did with their foundation. All in all I say the packaging is so glamorous and looks expensive,  and the product is amazing. Can't go wrong with this foundation especially for your buck :)

My next favorite is Still Glamorus cosmetics, and if you've never heard of this makeup line I will tell you why: This is a NEW makeup line from a Beauty Guru on Youtube: kasey that I recently heard about who runs her own cosmetic company and makes her own pigments. Yes you heard right kasey makes her own makeup. Her pigments are stunning and richly colorful, They are packed in 5 gram jars and never fails to amaze me. The line carries a range of products from pigments, lipsticks, eyeshadows, glow blushes, primers and more. So all and all I really Love her makeup and I'm Obsessing over how great her makeup is!! My favorite color pigments are Goddess (shown above),Vintage, Jazzy, and Nude beach.  Kasey has done a wonderful job with her makeup and it's worth a try to check it out. This makeup obsessed product is Smashbox's Hydrating Photo Finish Primer. This primer is incredible, and I was recently turned on to it when my good friend deejay told me all about this great primer and mailed me a bottle. Now this face primer is a little pricey selling for $42 USD but it last a extremely long time since you just need a small amount, and the benefits you reap from this are astonishing:

Delivers immediate hydration to
     the skin

Sustains hydration for hours after

Smoothes fine lines and pores

Skin appears Flawless 

So when you see the benefits your skin gets from this its just a must.. and like that old saying goes: It's a crime not to prime! Yes you could use something a little more budget friendly but high end is always better in most cases and you get what you pay for and Smashbox is a great company that is cruelty free, and products are well well made.

My Last makeup obsessed product is the Lorac lipgloss in jimmy. Okay so what's so special about this lip gloss that's not special about every other lip gloss on the market?? Well I'll tell you why..it's a hydrating gloss infused with natural antioxidants that nourishes and protect your lips. So  What does it do?
